Our client is embarking on a significant transition as they integrate the HRI entity into the broader organization, with a particular focus on the integration of software that tracks grant accounting into Workday. To help with this process, they're seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM) with a strong background in Workday and experience in similar integration projects, especially those related to grant accounting.
Role Overview:
- Position: Program Manager for Workday Integration
- Location: Remote with potential Monday to Thursday travel (if out of state) PAID T&E
- Project Duration: Likely through all of next year
- Main Objective: Guide the integration of software that tracks grant accounting into Workday
- Rate: Quote your best rate
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Lead and manage the integration project, ensuring it stays on track and meets key milestones.
- Workday Integration Expertise: Provide deep expertise in integrating external applications/software into Workday, particularly around accounting systems.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact between Roswell's internal teams and external vendors or software providers.
- Grant Accounting Software Integration: Focus on integrating the existing grant accounting software into Workday. This could involve mapping data, workflow alignment, and ensuring seamless integration between the systems.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify and resolve risks and challenges associated with the integration process.
- Timeline and Budget Management: Oversee the project timeline and budget, ensuring milestones are met, and ensuring that the project is completed efficiently.
Key Requirements:
- Workday Expertise: Strong experience with Workday implementations, specifically integrating third-party applications/software.
- Accounting/Grant Accounting Experience: Experience with accounting software integration is essential. Familiarity with grant accounting systems is highly beneficial.
- Program Management Experience: Proven track record of leading large-scale software integration projects, particularly in complex organizational structures.
- Travel Availability: Willingness to travel Monday through Thursday if located out of state.
- Project Experience: Ideally, candidates will have worked on similar integration projects where accounting or grant-related systems were integrated into enterprise software like Workday.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and expectations across different departments.
- Familiarity with grant tracking systems, accounting principles, and reporting mechanisms.
- Experience with data mapping, process reengineering, and aligning financial software with ERP systems like Workday.
